The Diocese of Baker Youth Camps and Retreats seek to provide opportunities for young people to gather together from around the State of Oregon to grow in their faith through community, and a deep encounter with Christ, especially in the Sacraments.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up: All youth are required to be dropped-off and picked-up by a parent/guardian or a designated adult. Adult drivers must be a minimum of 25 years old. Youth must also be formaly checked-in and out by a parent/guardian or a designated adult. No youth may drive themselves or others to Diocesan events. This includes youth who are 18 years or older.

Prescription and Over the Counter Medications: All of medications of any kind will be stored with, and distributed by the camp nurse. All medications will be given following their prescribed instructions. No youth should pocess medications of any kind. Epinephrine Auto-Injectors (Epipens) will be stored near by or carried by the camp nurse/EMT in case of emergencies.
Meals: All meals are provided, and cooked in our onsite kitchen. Special arraangments for food allergies and/or sensitivities can be easily arranged.
Cabins and Sleeping Arrangments: Youth will sleep in buckbeds with mattresses in heated cabins. Youth will need to provide their pillow and sleeping bag.
Packing List:
1. Appropirate clothing for the number of days/nights for the event, also including an appropriate swimsuite for water games. All youth are required to bring along a pair close toed shoes for games, and outdoor activities.
Average July tempretures are a High of 86 and Low of 48
Average October tempretures are a High of 65 and Low of 34 (These are averages, actual weather may vary).
2. Toiletries- soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deoderant, sunsscrean, and a towel
