Diocesan Statutes for the Protection of Children:  In October of 2002 the Diocese of Baker published its Diocesan Statutes for the Protection of Children.  The National Charter directs that the procedures for making a complaint will be readily available in printed form and “will be the subject of periodic public announcements”.   The Diocesan Statutes are available at Parish Offices as well as the Diocesan website: www.dioceseofbaker.org.  The persons to whom child abuse may be reported are located there.  You may also contact the County Attorney or the Department of Human Services about the procedure to be followed to report suspected child abuse.
