From the Introduction to our Diocesan Guidelines:
The purpose of the Church is spiritual but it operates within a human society with all the same complexities.  Good administration is essential to assure that the structures necessary for the promotion of the Gospel are in place.  The mutual cooperation of the Faithful, clerical and lay, is essential to the well-ordered administration of the Diocese.  The structures of the Diocese are intended to be effective means of nurturing the Faith in our portion of the Vineyard of the Lord.  All should contribute generously the varying gifts and talents with which they have been blessed by God.

We are very grateful to the many dedicated priests and laity who help provide this administration.

CAMP STORE: The Camp Connolly Store made its debut at the Diocese of Baker Youth Camps this summer.  Many thanks to all of you who scoured your closets, cabinets, desks to send medals, rosaries, holy cards, booklets and a variety of religious articles to fill the bins and baskets at the store.  Plus, there were some non-religious items donated which appealed to the campers as well.  All donations are much appreciated.
The campers earned Camp Connolly Cash in a variety of ways as a form of positive reinforcement.  They put it to good use during the morning and afternoon breaks when the store was open.  This was a popular place which will continue to be in operation next year and many years after with your help.   We ask that you continue to send items to the Diocesan Office throughout the year and invite all who were not able to donate to take this opportunity to do so.  Thank you one and all!!

If you would like to donate to our Camp store, please bring your donations to our Office at 911 SE Armour Road, Bend, OR, 97702 or mail them to:  Diocese of Baker, Camp Store, PO Box 5999, Bend, OR  97708
